Small Dreams

One of my favorite people like EVER is here this week for our Small Dreams. This person is MAJOR talented, a mom, designer and blogger and with so many talents I wanted to find out more about how she was as a child and how she does it all!

Name: Felicity Lynch Age:30
Blog : eohjourney.blogspot.com
Live now: Bath

Where did you grow up?
We moved around a lot when I was growing up but I spent the first 10 years by the sea.

What was your fave read?
I loved “up the faraway tree” by enid Blyton. We had a massive amount of old books in my house when I was a child, and I used to spend hours looking through them, I loved the Victorian ones like Der Struwwelpeter by Heinrich Hoffman, (the German book that featured ‘shock headed peter’). I also loved the Victorian book The Water Babies by Charles Kingsley, and of course Alice in Wonderland! Anything fantastical and dream like!

Where were your fave places to go?
I loved the outdoors as a child, I loved to explore and build dens, I wasn’t much of a girly girl really!

What did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be an actress or a dancer, anything on the stage…

Where you afraid of anything?
The dark

Fave quote:
“The only thing worse than being talked about, is not being talked about” Oscar Wilde

What’s in your ipod right now?
All the classics, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Nick Drake, Van Morrison, at the moment I love listening to Gillian Welch, Johnny Flynn and lot’s of folk. There’s an amazing Bath based band called Kill It Kid, that are going to be huge! Love them

Fave places to shop for yourself?
We are quite lucky here in the U.K to have affordable high street stores, so the obvious choices are H&M and Zara, but I love vintage and I get’s lot’s of rare pieces from Ebay and Etsy. I also love Phillip Lim, and loads of French designers. My wardrobe is very ecclectic, depending on my mood, sometimes I love bold colours and patterns and sometimes very neutrel. I like clothes that are ethical and special.

Fave labels for your kids?
So many…Bobo Choses, Popupshop, Wovenplay, and lot’s of vintage & charity shop finds!
